   Today most developers use tables for website layout, but as per the W3C standards they should not be doing this. As such many are now moving to pure CSS driven layouts, I am among those moving to conform to the web standards. There are many who reject CSS layouts, and many still who design hybrid layouts using CSS and tables. I prefer pure CSS. This is not to say I don't use tables for tabular data, I do.

   My websites use what I call the "Zoom-in Layout". Test it out, in your browser resize your text, first larger then smaller. You'll notice a difference in my approach to making websites. This technique allows for robust websites. Too many websites already remove the ability to resize text making it hard to read small text. When they do allow text resizing, if the text grows too much the layout breaks, or becomes ugly and again..hard to read. My designs allow for the website to keep it's layout and form while also allowing for the text to resize gracefully. It all adds up to a win win situation. You win because your websites are harder to break, and you win again because your visitors are happier.
4. My websites are designed to be web accessible for as many users as possible. Granted, it is impossible to make a website accessible to each and every person, but for the most part I try to make my pages conform to the WCAG 1.0 guidelinesWCAG.

   Canada, among other countries, have a passed a law that states that any and all government websites, or government funded organizations must make their websites accessible. I make my websites accessible because I realize the enormous amount of peoples that your business is missing out on because it may not be accessible. I do this because I believe everyone has a right to surf the World Wide Web. Just think of the literally millions of potential visitors you may be blocking because your websites are not easily accessible to people with disabilities. Then think of the millions you could get onto your website because my designs follow the WCAG guidelines. Web Accessibility isn't just about more visitors = greater potential revenue, it's also about equality and wanting to offer the best service you can.

   This means that spiders, little programs that help add you to search engines, have an easy time of reading the text on your page and indexing you.
